Striving to be the hands and heart of Christ in our community.
We feed the hungry and assist the needy.
Shelby County Outreach in Center:
It all began with a community Thanksgiving dinner in 1991. A few years later, in 1997, we were incorporated and became a non-profit organization. We have been open for many years now, but our mission for helping those in need hasn't changed.
Our mission is to feed the hungry and assist the needy in Shelby County.
Our Motto is to be the hands and heart of Christ in our community.

Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. would like to extend our gratitude to Tyson Foods in Center, TX. In July of 2020, Tyson Foods awarded a grant allocation of $15, 000 to our organization in order to purchase food for our emergency food boxes. This grant provided for 250 emergency food boxes, feeding over 350 people in Shelby County.
